Hotel Du Congres Brussels, Brussels

The hotel had its highs and lows. While the rooms were small, noisy, and old-fashioned with a dusty curtain, the service was super nice and very welcoming. The location was convenient, bringing you close to the city center. The dining experience had a limited assortment, but the fresh fish was good quality.

The hotel offers very pleasing rooms, with a window overlooking the garden, that look as if they have been renovated recently. The location is excellent for exploring the European quarter and the center of town, with various restaurants and bars close by. However, the service was rather arrogant and not helpful, and the dining options lacked variety despite good quality items.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the rooms were nicely tucked away at the back of the building with a nice courtyard, they were very noisy due to no insulation at the third floor of a dependance across the road. The service was friendly and helpful, despite a small hiccup about my dog. The location was convenient, close to the metro and local shops, but far enough from the city not to be too noisy. Dining options were okay, with some fresh vegetables available, but nothing extraordinary. The value for money was reasonable, considering the amenities provided.
